doll Namitha is in a downbeat mood
these days. According to her no one
is willing to try her in films for
her acting capabilities. Of late,
she is finding it to difficult to
remove the glamour tag from her image.
While narrating the script, directors
promise the world in terms of her
character portrayal.
They claim that her role is sure to be different
and very pivotal to the progress of the movie.
“But they use me only for the oomph quotient”,
laments this gorgeous beauty.
“In films like Bambara Kannale and Pachaikudirai,
though my character was lauded, there was always
a physical attribute which was prominent. I
was not given adequate scope for performance.”
But Namitha can heave a sigh of relief now.
Perhaps Azhagiya Thamizh Magan director has
heard her grouse. She has been given a meaty
role on par with the heroine of the film. This
year has sure augured a good time ahead for
this beauty.
