Pokkiri
and Aalwar are ready for Pongal release.
While Pokkiri has received U/A certificate
from censor, Aalwar is contented with
an A certificate. Release dates of
both the films are confirmed. They
would hit the screen on Sunday the
14 th January.
An interesting trivia about Pokkiri
is that Mahesh Babu,
the popular Telugu star is said to be keenly
interested in all the details about this film.
He is alleged to have requested the particulars
about the opening of the film, the number of
theatres it is being screened, the audience
response etc. As he has friends in Kollywood
circles, he has requested them to forward him
all the details. For those of you who are less
informed, Mahesh Babu was the hero of the original
Pokkiri in Telugu. Hence it is but natural that
he is curious about Tamil Pokkiri’s performance.
