January 10, 2007

He has officially become the first actor from Bollywood to write an autobiography. Lives of other great actors have come in form of books, but they all have been written by fans, critics or relatives. But this man has not been known to leave any detail of his interests to others. He has directed and produced many of his movies.

Dev anand

Even at an age when others prefer the comfort of retirement, he has chosen to remain active in his field.

Dev Anand, the evergreen hero of Bollywood recently launched his autobiography titled ‘Romancing with life’. The book will be a chronicle of his life as an actor and film maker. The journey has been a long and eventful one and still continues. His last movie was Mr.Prime minister that had released in December 2005, it had gone unnoticed. Undeterred, Dev Anand is planning his next project.

For a man of above 80 years, he looks very much a 60 year old and full of energy. He said that the book will be released only on Sep. 26, his birthday.
