Saran’s next venture as producer
is Muni which has Raghevendra Lawrence
and Rajkiran in the lead. The story
and direction of the movie is handled
by the hero Raghevendra Lawrence.
It is learnt that Lawrence had told
this story to superstar Rajinikanth
in the sets of Sivaji during the shoots
of a song which was choreographed
by Lawrence.
Rajinikanth was very much impressed with the
story of Muni and wanted Lawrence himself to
do the lead role. After getting the approval
from the man himself, Lawrence had gained some
confidence and then approached director Saran
with the story. Saran too was impressed with
the story and the work for Muni started. Rajini
was in frequent contact with Lawrence enquiring
about the developments of the movie. The movie
is nearing its completion and its audio launch
was held today at Nandambakkam in Chennai.
