Dhanush starrer Polladhavan will be an action
movie revealed some insiders. The lanky actor
had always nursed a desire to become an action
hero. His Kadhal Kondein, though a romance
subject had a fair amount of fight sequences
and so did Thiruda Thirudi.

This prompted him to foray into full-fledged action movie
in Pudupettai. But the movie did not fare well.
Having had enough, Dhanush once again moved to romantic
subjects, which happens to be his forte. Thiruvilayadal
Aarambam was a comedy flick, which proved to be a mega
success.
With Polladhavan, looks like Dhanush's thirst for action
movies will be quenched. While talking about the movie,
director Vetriman reaffirmed that Polladhavan will have
right mixture of romance and action to satisfy all sections
of the crowd. The stunt sequences will be tailor-made
to suit Dhanush's image, he added. Moreover, the movie
is also slated to have a surprise element towards the
climax. "Dhanush's character in the movie fights
for a unique cause which will attract the attention of
the viewers", concludes the confident director.
