Pasanga, the debut venture of director
Pandiraj has come as a pleasant
change from the hero oriented films
that release regularly. It is after
a long time that a children’s
movie has made it to theaters. The
film has received its share of appreciation
from all round, it has been particularly
well received in Chennai. It’s
clean content is one of the reasons
for this, making it fit for the
entire family.
Speaking about this, director Pandiraj
said that he was extremely pleased
with the response that he has received.
He also added that this has given
him a sense of responsibility towards
the audience. In fact, he had written
a story during the making of Pasanga
and had originally intended to work
on it as his second movie. However,
the appreciation, especially from
the press and media has made him
think more responsibly. He said
that he would never resort to movies
that defied logic and would always
give good entertainers. He also
thanked Sasikumar for giving him
the first break in the industry.
