Divya Spandana refused to star
in Drohi. The actress disclosed
her reasons for declining the offer
that was made to her initially.
Divya said that she had made up
her mind not to feature in a double
heroine film. When questioned about
her role in Vaaranam Aayiram, which
also had Sameera Reddy in the cast,
Divya was quick to point out that
her role was more important during
the second half.
Yet another reason that Divya states
is that her role in Drohi required
her to appear in mother-daughter
get up, which she is not inclined
to do at the moment. The actress
added that she is looking for meaty
roles in Tamil cinema to establish
herself.
