Karthiga entered the wedlock with her long time beau Merin Mathew on May 18th at St. Mary's Orthodox Church in Thevalakkara. Originally known as Lydia, the actress changed her name to Karthiga when she started her career in the film industry. The bridegroom is a medical officer based at US. A reception for the newly wed will be held at the Thrikakara Bharat Matha College Auditorium. Karthiga had starred in several Malayalam films.
