Akshay Kumar who was charged with
obscenity during the Lakme India
Fashion week was arrested under
section 294 and 34 of the IPC. Though,
his wife Twinkle who was involved
in the unbuttoning act was arrested
last month and was released on bail,
Akshay was out of the country and
hence the police were unable to
take any action against the star.
He surrendered on his return to
India, but was later released on
bail.
The act of unbuttoning took place
in the Lakme India Fashion week
on the ramp. A social worker had
filed a complaint following which
arrests were made.
