Madhavan denies ladies’ film
May 16, 2009

Maddy was signed up to star in the Bollywood film Chassni. Chassni is a remake of the Tamil film June R. The film stresses the importance of adoption of old persons. But according to the latest report from the film’s unit, the actor had opted out of the film. Reportedly, Maddy is doubtful about his role in the film more so because of too many actresses in the film. Revathy Sharma, the director of the film, had roped in Jaya Bachchan, Ayesha Takiya, Raveena Tandon and Urvashi Sharma to star in the film.

Sources close to the actor, however, state that Madhavan opted out of the film because the producers were still undecided on the dates.
