(Yaavarum Nalam), directed by Vikram
Kumar, the most-talked about horror
film in the recent times can now add
one more feather to its cap. The film
will be screened at the 12th Shanghai
International Film Festival (SIFF)
between June 13 and 21.
The Oscar winning director of Slumdog
Millionaire, Danny Boyle will lead
the jury team this year. The festival
will screen 1925 films including 10
movies by Alfred Hitchcock, which
will also be shown during the festival.
Both Vikram and Madhavan are excited
about the screening and are sure to
be present for the big day at Shanghai.
It is worth a mention that Neeraj
Pandey’s A Wednesday is the
official entry from India for the
prestigious Asian New Talent Award.
