flow in that a law suit has been filed
against Karan Johar’s Dharma
Productions for allegedly not paying
the local actors and technicians after
using their services in Philadelphia.
Dharma Productions had made use of
their services for a film that had
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in
the lead. The film is directed by
Rensil D’Silva. Sources say
that Swish Films, an Australia-based
company, was engaged to take care
of all the arrangements including
the payments.
With allegations of non-payment surfacing,
both the companies Dharma Productions
and Swish Films are facing a law suit
seeking a compensation of about $150,000.
More importantly, the complainants
have sought a stay order to prevent
the team from leaving the country
with the film rolls already shot.
