Suriya revealed that he agreed
to star in Ram Gopal Varma’s
Bollywood flick Raktha Charithra
after hearing the storyline. The
actor said that he had been discussing
the issue with RGV for several months
but finally it worked out in this
venture.
Disclosing more about the film,
Suriya said that it about the late
politician Paritala Ravi and his
murder. Raktha Charithra also has
Vivek Oberoi in the cast. In fact
it is a five-hour film and will
be released in two parts. Suriya
will appear in the climax of the
first part and will take on from
there.
The entire film will be shot at
a stretch; however, the first part
will be released in January 2010
and the second part will hit the
marquee three months later.
