It has been reported in Femalefirst, that Aamir Khan and Oscar winner Kate Winslet will work together in a film based on the Indo-Pak partition. Apparently, the film is based on the novel Toba Tek Singh, penned by Saadat Hasan Manto.

Aamir Khan is expected to play the role of a mentally disturbed person in a mental asylum. The story is about how the partition affects him. Kate Winslet could play the role of Dr. Sophie, if she agrees to work in the project. Pan Nalin will direct this yet-to-be named venture.
