Divya Spandana reveals that it
is true she had discussions about
purchasing the Bangalore Royal Challengers
Team. However, the actress backtracked
considering the time she needed
to spend on working for the IPL
team’s success. The actress
adds that she has been signed up
as the team’s ambassador and
will be seen in all the matches
played by the team in future. Divya
clarified her stance after reports
that she had indeed purchased the
IPL team.
Divya also disclosed that she was
called upon by two political parties
to contest in the Lok Sabha and
the local elections but refused
as she wanted to concentrate on
her career. The actress is currently
acting in two Tamil films –
Kadhal to Kalyanam and Singam Puli
– and has been signed up for
another venture that is to be directed
by Vettrimaran.
