Kollywood is increasingly adopting
latest technological advancements
breaking free from the age-old techniques.
Ethirmarai, the film produced by
E-scope International, has used
the Red One, Phantom high speed
cameras for the first time in Tamil
cinema. In fact Ethirmarai receives
the honor of being the first film
in India to have used the high speed
cameras that have also been used
in James Bond movies like Casino
Royale and Quantum of Solace.
Besides, the production company
has established an in-house data
management system to preserve and
process the footages shot using
the high-end cameras. Ethirmarai’s
cinematographer is Dinesh Kumar.
The film is directed by G Arun who
also owns E-scope.
