Asal’s director is caught
up in a legal tangle! The director
is busy directing Ajith in Asal
at present but things got out of
hand for him when a Chennai-based
financier filed a case against him
with regard to a check bounce case.
Apparently, Saran availed a loan
from the financier on a 12 per cent
interest rate. After paying up the
interest promptly for a few months,
the director issued a check to clear
his due. However, when the check
was deposited in the bank the financier
noticed that there were not funds
in the director’s account.
Following this, the financier filed
a case against the director.
Saran did not present himself before
the court even after repeated court
orders and this paved way for the
court to issue a warrant against
him.
