July 29, 2009

The latest buzz is that Fox Star Studio is negotiating with Karan Johar to procure the rights of his film My Name is Khan. Apparently, the deal is priced at Rs. 100 crore, the highest ever in Bollywood. It is worth a mention here that thefilm's budget is just half the said amount.

While films like Ghajini and Om Shanti Om was sold for Rs. 90 crores and Rs. 75 crores, respectively, the 100-crore deal has made the entire Bollywood sit up and expect what the film is all about.

With Shah Rukh Khan pairing up with Kajol after a long long time, and Karan Johar directing the hit pair, the film is already touted to be on the road to success.
