Seems like an old ghost is coming
back to haunt Shankar and director
Balaji Sakthivel, the hit-maker
director of Kadhal. The director
of St. Joseph School Ms. Jeyarani
has lodged a complaint against the
producer and director of Kadhal
mentioning that since the movie
was told to be a real-life story,
the parents of the school children
assumed that the school was also
part of the incidents happened.
This trigged anxious enquiries from
the parents ruining the peace of
the school and its director.
The school is claiming Rs. 20 lakh
in compensation for the anxiety
caused in this regard. Besides,
the petition also alleges that the
school was shown in the movie without
proper permission from the school
authorities. The case has been postponed
to August 9, 2009 on which date
Shankar and Balaji Sakthivel are
asked to appear in the court to
provide their part of the argument.
