‘My TVS Heritage Car Rally’
was flagged off by Kamal Hasan on
2nd August at Don Bosco School.
This yearly display of the vintage
cars has become a regular event
in Chennai’s calendar which
speaks of its fifth successful take
off. Participation in this is a
pride of the owners who boastfully
show off their classic cars which
are their antique treasures. The
charm of the old-age cars still
seem to enthrall young and old alike
which is a proof of the success
of this rally, year after year.
The look and technological novices
in the vintage collection evince
greater interest in younger folks
which generally keeps such events
going. The active part played by
the members and the enthusiastic
expectation of the Chennaiites is
the strength of this program.
Actor Kamal known for his passion
for vintage cars probably added
a charismatic charm to the day’s
inaugural session. He has already
displayed his passion by using such
cars in many of his movies. This
rally was an eye catching treat
for the Chennaiites who were fortunate
to witness the cars moving in a
preplanned route.
