The opening week for Love Aaj Kal has turned out to be good with the film grossing Rs. 62 crores. Of this Rs. 62 crores, 47 crores were from the Indian market and the rest from the worldwide release including the United Kingdom, Pakistan and Australia.

Love Aaj Kal was produced jointly by Eros International and Illuminati films owned by Saif Ali Khan. Incidentally, this is Saif’s first venture from his production house and he also played the lead role in the film. Deepika Padukone played Saif’s leading lady in Love Aaj Kal and the film was directed by Imtiaz Ali.
