Saif Ali Khan is on the high these days. Ever since Dil Chatha Hai hit the screens, this talented actor has not looked back. His latest Salaam Namaste was a hit. It seems the actor was approached by Manirathnam for his bilingual in Hindi and English. Saif who has accepted two other projects in Hindi couldn’t find time to accommodate Mani.

It is said that Ram Gopal Verma too approached Saif for the legendary Veeru role in the remake of Sholay. The actor has refused this offer too. Abhisek and Aishwarya are the actors who have been confirmed for Mani’s project. When asked about dropping out on Manirathnam’s movie, the actor replied, "The dates for Mani’s movie were the problem. I would have loved to work with Mani. He is after all…Mani!"
