Kushboo’s comments and the fallout have consumed much space in the media. Following close is the reportedly abusive scenes in Sivakasi shot as if inside a court hall. A large section of the legal profession is incensed

about the scenes and the dialogues which it feels has lowered the dignity of lawyers and courts. A spate of posters condemning the scenes and the actor, director and producer has been splashed all over Chennai. Some lawyers have planned to approach the courts seeking for removal of the scenes. They have also planned to file suits against Vijay and Asin.
