A.M. Ratnam is keen to launch son Ravikrishna’s KD		November 19, 2005

A.M. Ratnam is a happy man because Sivakasi produced by his Sri Surya Movies banner is doing good business. Close on the heels of Sivakasi, he wants to release the bilingual film with his son Ravikrishna in the lead. Titled Kallan, it is directed by his elder son, Jothi Krishna.

After facing some flak for the title, the name has been changed to KD. Shooting for the film, now on at Hyderabad, is almost complete and Ratnam plans to rush through post production so that KD will have an early release. Let us hope the film will live up to the hype. Ratnam’s earlier film directed by his son, Unakku 20 enakku 18 was a miserable flop.
