A. Chandrasekaran’s two successive
films, Sullan and February 14 were forgettable
flops. Sullan was made at the peak of Dhanush’s
popularity. Undeterred, he produced Ghajini
with Surya and the good response to the
film has partially recouped his losses.
Buoyed by the
success, he has now decided to restart
work on shelved projects. The most notable
project is Asokamitran with Dhanush in
the lead. In this film, the role of Dhanush’s
mother is played by much-in-the-news-now
lady, Suhasini Maniratnam.
