Suresh Gopi’s next film will highlight the Sri Lankan Tamils issue

The sensitive issue of the Sri Lankan Tamils has found its voice in several Tamil films. Now for the first time, a Malayalam film will highlight the plight of the ethnic minority in the emerald island. Suresh Gopi will be the hero and newcomer Mamta will be the heroine.

A.K. Sajan has written the story, screenplay and dialogues besides directing the film. The two-decade old saga of subjugation, ethnic cleansing, second hand citizenship and military excesses will be discussed threadbare. With Suresh Gopi we can be sure of a powerful performance. Sajan’s earlier film was titled Stop Violence.
