Vijay’s Aathi, produced by S.A.Chandrasekara which was meant to be released for pongal along with Paramasivan is most likely to be not released on Saturday. The movie is tentatively slated for a Sunday release. The reason for the delay is not very clear. A section of people in the industry say that the delay is attributed to sentimental reasons.

Others say that the decision was made to avoid fan clashes with Ajith’s Paramasivan releasing on the same day. The theatres have been instructed to pay back the money for the tickets issued on the first day. Vijay’s fans who have been gearing up for the movie’s release are in deep disappointment.
