Anand Lal Thackeray has filed a case against the founder of Suzlon, Tulsi Tanti, shareholder Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and district collector Nandurbar for illegally transferring his land to Suzlon without his knowledge.

In his complaint, he had stated that he entered into a deal with Sarjan Realties to sell the land but was shocked to find that the title of the land had been transferred to Suzlon Group. Suzlon, a turbine manufacturer, intends to build windmills in the disputed land.
