Boney Kapoor returns to Dubai and surprises Sridevi in her hotel room. He is reported to have had a small chat with her before she went into the bathroom to bathe. 

It is reported that she hadn't returned from her bath for a long time, and hadn't responded to Boney. After which he found her lying unconscious in her bathtub. 

She is rushed to the hospital where it is confirmed that she is dead on arrival.
