Tamil Film Producers Council has now confirmed that Vishal's Irumbu Thirai will hit the screens on May 11. This film directed by PS Mithran also stars Arjun and Samantha in the lead roles while Yuvan Shankar Raja takes care of the music department.

The distributors had initially released a poster saying the film will release on May 11 but then Vishal clarified that nothing is official until the TFPC approves the date of release. Now that TFPC has officially given a nod, there is no stopping Irumbu Thirai. 

TFPC has also clarified that none of the films including Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu has been approved to release on May 4.
