Kirshna Kumari Kolhi, aged 39, from Pakistan's Sindh province became the first Hindu to be elected as a senator in Pakistan. Kirshna is a Hindu Dalit member of the Pakistan People's Party led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Reportedly, this is a huge milestone for both the minorities and the women of Pakistan.
