Good news for Chennai people

The Koyambedu vegetable market saw a steep fall in vegetable prices on Tuesday. This was a result of the excessive rains that Tamil Nadu had received during the northeast monsoon. The price of small onions went down to Rs 35 per kg which was earlier Rs 160 per kg. The price of tomato has gone down to Rs 8 per kg from Rs 20 per kg. This pricing is reportedly expected to be the same for three more weeks.
