TN WOMAN COP ATTEMPTS SUICIDE ALLEGING CASTE DISCRIMINATION

A woman police constable going by the name Savitha attempted to kill herself over alleged caste discrimination by superior officers in Cuddalore.

In her suicide note, Savitha has alleged that Reserve Inspector (RI) Sivasankaran was targeting her by giving her more work, despite her repeated requests for lesser work due to health issues and also mentioned that she had a miscarriage due to the workload in police force.

Meanwhile, the Reserve inspector in question has denied the allegations.
