While the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami was on his way to board a Jet Airways flight to Madurai, the CM and 11 other officials including his deputy secretary and security guards reportedly got stuck in the airport lift on Sunday evening. The lift stopped working in between the second and third floors while it was going to the ground floor. After about 10 minutes of struggle, the lift operator reportedly rectified the lift and it came to a stop at the second floor.
