Coastal districts including Chennai to receive heavy rains: Met Centre

S Balachandran, director of Chennai Meteorological Centre, has said that the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu including Thiruvallur, Chennai, Kanchipuram, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Ramanathapuram and Pudukottai will receive heavy rains in the coming days. Further, the inner districts and southernmost districts will receive mild showers, he added.
