The Chennai district collector Anbuselvam has reportedly ordered the schools in the district to close and leave the students an hour earlier before the usual closing time. The students, who had a hard time reaching the school as heavy rains lashed out at the city, will be sent home an hour earlier, as per the collector’s order. The move comes as heavy rains are expected to continue in the city. However, no announcements were made on plans for tomorrow though the rain is likely to continue tomorrow as well.
