According to reports, a student of Madras Medical College on Sunday committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room. Arun Selvan of Vandavasi, a second-year MBBS student, was found dead in his room after some students opened it. Chintadripet police have filed a case in this regard and have launched a probe into the death, say reports.
