According to reports, a cop from Roshanai near Tindivanam was admitted to a hospital in Chennai due to kidney malfunctioning. Reports suggest that the family needed Rs 60 lakh for the treatment of the cop, Rajaram. Disturbed over the issue, Rajaram’s son Ranjith Kumar allegedly stabbed his mother and sister to death, and committed suicide by hanging himself, reports added.
