கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்டத்தில், சக மாணவர்கள் இரண்டு பேர் தனது ஹால் டிக்கெட்டை கிழித்ததால், மனமுடைந்த பன்னிரெண்டாம் வகுப்பு மாணவி தமிழரசி தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டதாக தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன.
ஹால் டிக்கெட்டை கிழித்த மாணவர்களில் ஒருவரான பசுபதியை காதலிக்க வற்புறுத்திய அந்த இரண்டு மாணவர்களும், தமிழரசியின் கையில் இருந்த பேப்பர்களை கிழித்தபோது ஹால் டிக்கெட்டும் கிழிந்ததாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
இதனால் மனமுடைந்த தமிழரசி தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டுள்ள நிலையில், குற்றம் சாட்டப்பட்ட மாணவர்களை போலீசார் விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர்.
A 30-year-old woman reportedly hanged herself and committed suicide at her house in Bengaluru on Sunday night. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the woman's husband who works as a software engineer suspected her of having an affair, which allegedly forced her to take the extreme step. Police have registered a case and are investigating the husband's role in her death.
Following the suicide of a woman who jumped off a running train into Adyar river, police have detained her husband in relation to the case on Wednesday. The woman allegedly committed suicide on March 5, as she was tortured for dowry by her in-laws and husband after the former came to know about her husband's illicit affair.
A 33-year-old sub-inspector reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself using a service revolver outside Ayanavaram police station on Wednesday. Reports say, he had left a suicide note stating that no one was responsible for his death. Police are investigating the matter.
21-year-old Padma, aka Badrakali of Tuticorin district set herself on fire after a failed love marriage. Padma had allegedly gotten married six months ago against her parent's wishes to her lover, Mohanraj. Reportedly, Mohanraj and his mother abused Padma for dowry, due to which she was forced to take refuge in her parent's house. On Tuesday morning, she poured kerosene and set herself on fire. According to reports, police have recovered a two-page letter she had written before her death. Allegedly, Padma wrote about how her husband was caring at the beginning and later started abusing her along with his mother. She had also mentioned that Mohanraj was allegedly close to another woman.
A woman working at Apollo Hospital in Chennai reportedly jumped off a running train into Adyar river and committed suicide on Saturday. Initially, police investigations revealed that the woman's husband had been torturing her demanding dowry, which could have forced her to take the extreme step. However, the woman's mother recently claimed that the man's illicit affair with another woman was also the reason that led to her suicide. Police are investigating the matter.
According to reports, Mohammed Nayeem, leader of a Muslim group in Telangana's Warangal town attempted suicide by consuming poison on live Facebook video on Friday. Reports say, Nayeem took the extreme step after authorities allegedly denied permission for a rally to protest killings in Syria. Reports added that Nayeem was later rushed to a hospital where he is recuperating.
A family of five in Iyyarkandigai village near Gummidipoondi, including two teenagers, consumed poison mixed with food as part of a suicide pact, allegedly due to a family dispute. Neighbors found the family unconscious upon which they rushed them to a hospital nearby. Three adults died whereas the teenagers continue to respond to the treatment. The doctors were quoted as saying, “The girls vomited soon after they consumed the poison. Hence, their chances of survival increased." No suicide note was found. The police have registered a case and are conducting investigations.
According to reports, a 13-year-old boy in Tirupur, identified as Vivekanandan committed suicide by hanging himself at his house. He was allegedly depressed over being scolded by his teachers for coming late to school. The police have also recovered a suicide letter written by him where he had written about the incident where he was chastised by the teachers and how he felt saddened by it. The police are currently conducting investigations.

Police reports suggest, the man committed suicide as he was frustrated by his hair problem and appeared depressed over the last weeks. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
A newlywed couple reportedly committed suicide by hanging themselves at their house in Kengari, Bengaluru, on Sunday. Reports say, the couple fell in love and got married in the city on November 2. Further, the couple recently rented a house and shifted there 15 days ago. However, the reason behind their death is still unknown as the couple didn’t leave a suicide note behind. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
In a shocking incident, a family of seven members was found dead on Friday morning in Telangana. The deceased include a 44-year-old man, his wife, his three kids, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law. They reportedly consumed biryani which was made in their home the previous night. It is still unknown whether they poisoned the food to commit suicide.

According to reports, a class 7 student of a private school in Thiruvottiyur committed suicide by hanging himself after teachers allegedly scolded him for scoring low marks in the term examinations. Some other boys, who went to the second floor of his house to play, saw 12-year-old Viswasai hanging dead and informed his parents. His body was sent to Stanley Hospital for post-mortem.

A class 8 girl studying in a private school in Coimbatore hanged herself as she was allegedly depressed over being scolded by her teacher. Reports say, the 13-year-old girl was allegedly scolded by her teacher for lagging in studies, after which she committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling in her residence in Karuttumedu in Coimbatore. Police are reportedly investigating the incident.
Firefighters reportedly rescued a youngster who threatened to commit suicide near Express Avenue. Reports say, the youngster climbed up a crane at a construction site near Royapettah’s Express Avenue. Police after several hours of talks with the youngster convinced him otherwise. Investigations revealed that the youth tried to commit suicide because he was denied proper treatment in Royapettah government hospital.
