According to reports, a 22-year-old murder-accused was hacked to death on Friday by a gang of around 10 persons, who intercepted the bus he was travelling in, at Thanichiyam near Vadipatti on Dindigul-Madurai highway. A report by The Hindu suggests that the murder could be an act of revenge. Police have reportedly formed three special teams to nab the accused.
