In what comes as a huge relief for SRM University vice-chancellor Parivendhar, the Madras High Court on Monday reportedly quashed the case against him in connection with a medical seat scam. Parivendhar was arrested and released on conditional bail after Vendhar Movies Madhan, during the investigation, said that he handed over the amount collected from parents on promises of medical seats for their children in the University to him.
