Stalin asks Centre to pay for Tamil Chair at Harvard University

DMK working president M K Stalin on Monday reportedly asked the Centre to pay the additional amount needed for setting up a Tamil Chair at the prestigious Harvard University. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami had announced Rs 10 crore for the Chair. The Chair, once set up, will pave the way for more research on Tamil language, history of Tamil rulers, literature and digitization of palm manuscripts, say reports.
