While meeting the fishermen of Rameswaram in Ganesh Mahal, Kamal Haasan said, “Different governments have made different promises and then when people ask why the promises are not met, they bring different problems in front of them. Fisheries is one of the important industries of Tamil Nadu. It’s very important to listen to your (Fishermen) queries. I am standing here and talking now. I will come back and stand among you and get your advice. Those who wish to join me in launching my party are welcome and those who have the responsibility to join me this evening will have to come”.
