Direct train services between these TN routes to end?

Southern Railway will soon operate 12-car EMU trains between Chennai and Arakkonam and this may lead to direct train services between Arakkonam and Velachery coming to an end since platforms on the Chennai Beach-Velachery MRTS section are long enough to only support a nine-car EMU rake, reports TOI.
