New cyclone formed near TN coastal region

The Indian Meteorological Department reportedly announced that the low-pressure area near the coastal region of Kanyakumari has transformed into a cyclone. The cyclone named ‘Ockhi’ is expected to bring heavy rain to Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, and parts of Kerala.
