Language controversy: TN govt feels the heat

DMK working president MK Stalin came down heavily on the ruling government for not making Tamil compulsory in Class X  for students hailing from other states. In a statement, he said that while neighbouring states like Karnataka are making their vernacular language compulsory for students from Class 1 to 10, Tamil Nadu government has amended the Tamil Compulsory Learning Act 2006.
