According to a TOI report, a man was arrested with the help of CCTV footages for cheating elderly by offering to assist them in ATMs. The accused would regularly wait outside ATMs and enter with old people in the name of offering help, near Washermenpet and Tondiarpet areas. Later, after the people leave, he’d withdraw more money before the transaction ends.
