According to a report in The New Indian Express, a bull was reined with a rope by its owner Shanmugam of Allur after it finished its run through the vaadivasal. The bull fell unconscious all of a sudden after which a veterinarian was called. The veterinarian later confirmed that the bull was so weak after the melee and it died of cardiac arrest.
