A traffic police constable from Ulhasnagar area in Thane district was suspended after he manhandled a 65-year-old senior citizen following an argument on Sunday. The argument broke out after a traffic department towing van prepared to tow the Honda Activa vehicle parked on a road. The owner of the vehicle, Jawahar Lulla, tried to convince the traffic police officials and tried to stop the van when it towed his Activa. The constable Baliram Patil was angered and got off the vehicle to slap and thrash Lulla. The incident was captured on video by an onlooker and is going viral on social media. While a case has been filed against Lulla for disrupting police work, he later complained of high blood pressure and was rushed to hospital.
