AFTER H RAJA’S TWEET, TAMILISAI LAMENTS PERSONAL ATTACK ON WOMEN POLITICIANS

BJP national secretary H Raja on Wednesday stoked a fresh controversy after taking a veiled dig at DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi and his daughter, Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi. The BJP leader, in his tweet, hinted that Kanimozhi is an illegitimate child of Karunanidhi. Following which, Tamil Nadu BJP unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan took to Twitter to lament personal attacks on women political leaders. “It is distressing that women involved in public life, irrespective of the (political) party they belong to, are criticized based on their personal life (translated from Tamil),” she wrote on Twitter.

பொதுவாழ்க்கையில் ஈடுபட்டிருக்கும் பெண்கள் எந்தக்கட்சியைச்சார்ந்தவராக இருந்தாலும் அவர்களின்தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கை விமர்சிக்கப்படுவது எனக்கு மிகுந்த மனவேதனையைத்தருகிறது.....

தன் கள்ள உறவில் பெற்றெடுத்த கள்ளக் குழந்தையை (illegitimate child) மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினராக்கிய தலைவரிடம் ஆளுநரிடம் கேட்டது போல் நிருபர்கள் கேள்வி கேட்பார்களா. மாட்டார்கள். சிதம்பரம் உதயகுமார், அண்ணாநகர் ரமேஷ், பெரம்பலூர் சாதிக் பாட்ஷா நினைவு வந்து பயமுறுத்துமே.
